HVAC is an acronym for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning. Residential homes, businesses, and industrial spaces alike require differing levels of air flow, temperature control, and air quality.

 

Our experience in the HVAC industry has led us to opportunities to work on the simplest of systems to the most challenging systems both in residential comfort and commercial contracting. Here are just a couple of the examples of our completed projects:

 

Williamson County Judicial Center-Constructed in 2001 the judicial center presented several challenges for proper airflow requirements. The system consisted of an air-cooled chiller with two large built up air handler systems serving each floor. Due to strict requirements of the indoor air quality in such a public building the controls system was extremely specific on the allotted amount of fresh air to each air handler depending on the load from the number of people. With the fluctuation of people throughout the day the demands on the system were great. After some fine tuning of the equipment, it work as designed.

 

Vanderbilt Studio Arts Center-On the campus of Vanderbilt University the studio arts center was completed in the fall of 2005. The system of this building brought on more challenges with not only a high demand for indoor air quality, but the demand to control the humidity within very distinct parameters for certain art displays. With the use of chilled water and steam from Vanderbilt’s Central Plant along with one large built up central air handler, the building was supplied with the proper climates to maintain the desired levels of comfort.
